The former Zaire's President Mobutu aircraft that was parked in Lisbon airport for the past 15 years is scrapped. Think that's a great loss: this aircraft could have been saved for any museum...

You are so right.
This would have been a beaut for our budding
airliners museum.
If you know more please let us know.
www.iinet.net/~airlinersmuseum.
Know about those two DC-7C at Cordoba airport.
Can you help us regarding the address of the owner??
Greetings
Hans

Hans,
The DC6B pictured in your museums website is now the Red Bull DC6B and is based in Europe.

Bateleur (that DC-6) is not, in fact, the Red Bull machine, but V5-NCG, the last ever DC-6 off the production line. The Red Bull 6 used to be V5-NCF, the penultimate one.
